A Project Made Possible by the MEEF Collaborative Grant
Wednesday, October 5, 2011 12:38Last Spring, MEEF Collaborative Grant winner Cathy Reed led a highly engaging project was funded through a Magnolia Educational Enrichment Foundation grant, making it possible for every fifth grader at Disney School to create one of these exciting projects. Student inventions included The Mohawker, a device that automatically dries and styles hair into a mohawk, The Virtual Glove, which can work with any game console, and Digital Weights which automatically record weight lifting reps. The event was a huge success and students were proud of their creations. Who knows – one of these inventions could be the next big thing!
